Can I book/buy without a credit card?

No, it is a service that you only buy with a Credit Card or PayPal.

How can I buy a ticket?

We promise affordable and clear conditions. Once you’ve chosen your transfer, enter the details of your credit card or PayPal, the payment will be processed and you will receive immediate confirmation of your booking. All payments will only be made “online” via a secure portal.

In the event of termination or cancellation by the customer, will the amount be refunded?

In the event of termination or cancellation by the customer, no amount will be refunded. In the event of adverse sea conditions, 100% of the amount paid will be refunded

How to find the boat?

Simple! Just bring along your booking voucher and discover the name of the boat and the model, notify the security/reception of the boat dock and they will tell you where the boat is moored.

All our boats have a flag as a sign of recognition with our TAXI BOAT logo and the name will also be recognisable from the print on the back of each boat.

If I forget an item on board, how do I retrieve it?

You must report it immediately to our customer service team customer.service [at], specifying what the object is and where you want it to be sent in case of discovery. TaxiBoat ASSUMES NO responsibility for oversights of objects on board the craft.

What are the main locations where the service is provided?

Currently we offer a transfer service by sea in the following locations: Naples, Capri, Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi, Ischia and Procida, Castellammare, Pozzuoli and Salerno with the ability to enter other destinations into WISHTRIP if the same is not listed among our offerings.

If I do not show up at the scheduled time, can I take another boat with the same voucher or can it be refunded?

In the case of boarding being denied, it is not possible to take another boat and you cannot get any refund.

What is WISHTRIP and how does it work?

WISHTRIP is a feature that allows the users to send, via links, (appearing on the list or in the search results page) their requests to TAXIBOAT (a new route, a certain date, time, etc.). TAXIBOAT will create such a trip and contact the customer.


What is WISHLIST and how does it work?

WISHLIST is a feature that allows you to keep the boat or boats that you have chosen but for which you have not yet completed the payment transaction.

On page of each route, you’ll find the “Add to WISHLIST” button

Can I receive the purchase invoice for the Taxiboat route?

Can I change a booking that has already been confirmed?

Sorry, this is not possible.

Can I consume food and/or drinks on the boat?

No, in terms of safety at sea, the use of food and drink is prohibited. The owner can offer a welcome drink before the transfer.

Is it possible to smoke on board?

No, in terms of safety at sea, it is forbidden to smoke on board

Can I surf at speeds higher than indicated?

No, for safety, the speed will be set to default and it will be at the discretion of the owner to increase the set speed.

Is the time of travel of the relevant sections always respected?

Yes, except for difficult weather and sea conditions where the hours may be subject to changes.

Who decides whether or not to travel in adverse sea conditions?

The decision is made solely by the captain of the vessel

What is included in the fare?

VAT as per law, tax and land transfer charges for shared boats

Where can I find the directions to the boat?

The information will be sent via email upon confirmation of the service or is listed on the profile of the owner.

If I am delayed will the boat wait for me?

YES, for a maximum of 15 minutes. The operator can communicate a different waiting time in the confirmation email.
